Incident response and a funnel check are different jobs.
Better Stack is known for uptime monitoring connected to incidents and on-call. FunnelWatch is narrower: did the path through this app still complete after the last deploy?
Better Stack
Teams use Better Stack when an outage needs an incident, a status update, and someone on call. That is a real operations product.
FunnelWatch
FunnelWatch does not try to be an on-call platform. It pings URLs, replays a funnel on a domain you verified, and sends the break to the person who can paste a prompt into Cursor or Lovable.
| Topic | Better Stack | FunnelWatch |
|---|---|---|
| The question it answers | Is this service up, and who is responding to the incident? | Does this signup, checkout, webinar, or booking still complete? |
| How you define a check | Monitors aimed at the endpoints and heartbeats an operations team already knows. | A sentence and a URL. The mapping step writes a replay script. Later runs do not call a model unless a step fails. |
| Scope | Uptime and incident workflow for the stack you operate. | The customer path across Stripe, Resend, Kit, Mailchimp, Calendly, Zoom, or Supabase auth, on a site you own. |
| What we will not claim | Their current feature list and prices belong on their site. | Free is a fetch. Browser replay starts at $19 a month on Pro. Scale is $49 a month. |
This page describes FunnelWatch as it works today, and the general job the other product is known for. It does not quote their prices or list features we have not checked. Use their site for the current product.
Watch the next break before a customer does.
Start with the free fetch. Add a funnel when a ping is the wrong question.
